My name is Cristian Medina. I’m a proud kid of immigrants. I'm from NJ, lived in Austin and now reside in NYC.

I joined a start up in my early twenties. We started off small, and learned to appreciate trial and error. We would eventually grow to 50 people and raise over $20M at a $60M valuation.

During my 4 years at that startup, I was able to work in many different areas and at many different capacities. For example, at one point, I was a director of sales, living in market, going door-to-door to sell our product. I learned first hand what it takes to transform an idea into a company that people are willing to invest money and resources into.

I’m now part of a team thats leading the digital transformation of a company that’s over 100 years old! The name of the game here is change management, which is really about establishing strong relationships, understanding what they care about and providing them an outside perspective on areas of improvement. In my day-to-day, I am often pitching big ideas to my senior management team and trying to solve problems created by 100 year-old habits .

Sincerely, after 8 years, I’ver reached a point in my career where I confidently know I am really good at what I do, and I realize I have an opportunity to help others. My job has given me access to frameworks and resources on how to solve hairy problems, raise capital and build technology.
