THIS PARTNER is a women-led non-profit focused on youth empowerment and building tools for young people to understand the law and fight injustice. Like many early-stage non-profits, THIS PARTNER encountered significant challenges with fundraising.

The Objective

THIS PARTNER needed to craft a narrative, supporting material and a strategy to win over prospective funders and increase donations.

The Partnership

Recognizing the need to revaluate their approach to fundraising, THIS PARTNER reached out to us, at East 6 Labs. They were convinced we were the right partners after learning about our experience raising over +$20M and our commitment to helping entrepreneurs from marginalized communities.

The Solution

East 6 Labs led comprehensive collaboration sessions using the double diamond framework . The outcome was a clearly defined purpose, vision and roadmap for the next 3 years. We then used this narrative to craft a presentation and strategy for THIS PARTNER to use in their fundraising efforts and grant applications.

The Result

The outcome of our working sessions allowed THIS PARTNER to secure a $100k grant from a renowned social justice transformation fund. This marked a turning point for the non-profit, as not only were their immediate funding needs met, but they were able to build a minimum viable product (MVP) from it.

Motivated by there recent success, THIS PARTNER has set a goal to achieve a $1M operating budget in ‘23 and has already achieved $400k+ of that goal.

Our partnership didn’t just solve a short-term problem; it laid the foundation for a more financially secure and impactful future for THIS PARTNER.
